“I have been living in Cincinnati for about nine years and cannot imagine living anywhere else,” says comedian Gabe Kea, who grew up in St. Louis. “I eat my chili over spaghetti now; I call the grocery store ‘Kroger’s,’ when it is actually just Kroger; and make fun of the other side of the city like it’s a different country.”
It was while at friend’s wedding that he realized what originally drew him to this city. “It was the comedy community. There is a vibrant group of funny people that I am so very proud to be a part of. Go Bananas is the epicenter of this community and I am excited to be headlining there this week.”
Those shows will also be a showcase of the Cincinnati comedy community, as the comedians will be having a special going away show for fellow comic V.A. Bennett.
