Hike Rowe Woods by the light of the moon to reflect on the ancient tradition of observing the winter solstice aka the longest night of the year aka the official first day of winter. Learn about the event’s both modern-day and historic symbolism, and the significance of the solstice as we look to spring. Enjoy traditional music and light snacks. This will be outdoors, so dress accordingly.
