With pumpkin spice starting to permeate the air, it's finally fall, and you know what that means — Halloween screams.

This weekend, HorrorHound is bringing its shriek-worthy convention of celebrities and scares to the Sharonville Convention Center (11355 Chester Road). The gathering spans Sept. 10-12, with celebrity signings and activities happening daily.

Actors and artists scheduled to appear at HorrorHound have a scary side and primarily are from horror, sci-fi or fantasy films or series. The current lineup includes Robert Englund, who has played Freddy in A Nightmare on Elm Street for decades; Michael Rooker, who is Yondu in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and Merle on The Walking Dead; and Jason Mewes, otherwise known as Jay in Clerks, Mallrats and other films from Kevin Smith.

The HorrorHound website currently has 37 celebrities on its lineup for the weekend. The event also will feature a dance party with karaoke, photo opportunities and more.

Per its COVID-19 notes, HorrorHound is not requiring proof of vaccination or negative testing for entry, but it does encourage facial masks to help slow the spread of the virus.

Visitors can purchase daily passes starting at $30, and some weekend passes may be available at the door.
