The top hotel in Kentucky is Hotel Covington. The 114-room boutique destination opened in 2016 in the historic former Coppin's Department Store, keeping some vintage flair mixed with new, chic updates. It's also home to Coppin's, the restaurant, known for its Southern-influenced farm-to-table, nose-to-tail menu. Hotel Covington is located at 638 Madison Ave., Covington. And the top hotel in Ohio is the 21c Museum Hotel in Cincinnati. Housed in the century-old Metropole Hotel, on the National Register of Historic Places, the 21c has been reimagined as a 156-room contemporary art museum-meets-boutique hotel with some of the historic flourishes intact (like the entryway tile floor). The space is also home to the Metropole restaurant and uber hip seasonal rooftop patio.
21c Museum Hotel is located at 609 Walnut St., Downtown. More info at 21cmuseumhotels.com/cincinnati.
