Just because Oktoberfest Zinzinnati is over doesn’t mean you have to pack away your lederhosen and steins just yet — there will be another chance for you to celebrate Cincinnati’s rich German history at The Summit Hotel in Madisonville.

AT Hospitality is partnering with The Summit Hotel and Taft’s Brewing Company to host a three-day weekend of socially distant German fun Oct.15-18, with plenty of live music, craft beer and German-influenced menu items.

The Summit’s Overlook Kitchen + Bar will be offering a special German menu and signature cocktails such as The Gipfel, which includes German blackberry liqueur. A small fleet of food trucks, including German Corner, will also be on hand.

This is Oktoberfest of course, so you want to know about the beer list. Among other choices, there will be Taft’s Oktubberfest Festbier, Founders Oktoberfest, Leinenkugel’s Oktoberfest, Fifty West Vienermobile, Braxton Oktober Fuel, MadTree Ziegler and Rhinegeist Franz to fill your steins. If the beer list isn’t your thing, there will also be a selection of German-emphasized wines available.

“We are really excited to partner with The Summit Hotel to host an incredible event and bring some normalcy to Cincinnati," said Dave Kassling, Managing Partner at Taft's Brewing Company. "Safety is the top priority, but that does not mean we cannot be part of hosting a great event, enjoying Oktoberfest brews, delicious food, live music, and more."

Guests can reserve tables from 2 to 8 people and never have to worry about leaving their seats as they enjoy the food and atmosphere made possible by the live entertainment. Among that entertainment are EchoWave, Grady Burton and The Klaberheads Duo as well as others.

There are two ticket type being offered to guests: general admission and the Overlook Exclusive.

General Admission tickets for the Biergarten are $25 a person. With this ticket you get a seat at a reserved table with your family and friends, one drink, one food item, live music and a Summit face mask.

Overlook Exclusive tickets are going to run you $50 a person. With this, you still get a seat at a reserved table with your family and friends, a face mask and live music. You will also get two drinks, two food items and a swag bag.

The Summit is also offering guests a chance to play fowling, the original football bowling game. It’ll be run by The Fowling Warehouse in 30-minute time slots. Groups can reserve a slot for $15. You can make the reservations for this either when purchasing tickets for the event or at the door based on the availability.

The events take place 5-10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15 and 16, with two sessions on Saturday, Oct. 17 — noon-4 p.m. and 6-10 p.m. — and noon-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18.

So keep up the fun and go for Oktoberfest round two. Or if you didn’t get out for Zinzinnati this is your chance to get your fill.
