So now that spring has melted away your frozen winter heart, it’s time to think about how much better your life would be with a (or another) dog.

Sure, they come with a lot of responsibility, but that’s exactly what you need to thrive in this crazy human world: our own problems seem insignificant while we’re taking care of puppy problems.

Mutt Madness will be held at Washington Park Saturday to enable you to adopt a doggo from local shelters like Racing to Retirement Greyhound Adoption, Clermont Animal CARE Humane Society, League for Animal Welfare, Adore-A-Bull Rescue and Furgotten Dog Rescue.

Bring the family dog along if you’d like to treat them to a run in the park; there will also be pet vendors at the event so every good dog can get a bone.
