Nine Cincinnati Pop-Up Maker Marts and Craft Shows to Shop Local This Holiday Season

Crafty Supermarket

This biannual show hosts 100 vendors touting jewelry, fine art, apothecary, ceramics, artisan edible goods, housewares and more. On Nov. 30, the city’s longest-running indie maker market will return to the Music Hall Ballroom to celebrate its 10-year anniversary with an expanded two-day craft show, with a bonus market on Dec. 1. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 and Sunday, Dec. 1. Greater Cincinnati Winterfair

The 36th-annual Winterfair juried fine art and craft event invites shoppers to explore a plethora of work by more than 200 artisans from across America. Head to the Northern Kentucky Convention Center to discover ceramics, jewelry, photography, wearable art and more. A marketplace on the second floor will also feature specialty gourmet food items. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29 and Saturday, Nov. 30; 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1. $7 adults; free kids 12 and under. Covington Winter Night Bazaar

The Covington Winter Night Bazaar is a descriptively named outdoor maker mart with fire pits and festive lighting. This year’s event has a Krampus Night theme, so expect the  horned goat-man of European Christmas lore to be wandering the fest with a couple of wooden switches and a bag to carry off naughty children (or adults). There will be more than two dozen vendors, plus hot buttered rum from Second Sight Spirits. 5-11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7. Free admission. Covington, rcov.org/covingtonnightbazaar.

Craft Menagerie's Holiday Market

Arnold’s Bar & Grill will be taken over by a curated arts and crafts show. There will be multiple artisans selling everything from handmade jewelry and fiber art to pottery, screen-printed T-shirts and fine foods. Ohio Explored Holiday Maker Mart

Website Ohio Explored is hosting its annual Cincinnati maker mart weekend. Head to Urban Artifact to shop from hand-picked vendors who will be offering everything from apothecary items and artisan eats to jewelry, ceramics and fiber art. Second Sunday on Main Holiday Market

The monthly second Sunday Over-the-Rhine street fair is moving indoors in December for a holiday pop-up. From noon-5 p.m. Dec. 8, shoppers can purchase fresh Christmas trees and wares from more than 50 different local vendors. In addition to shopping ops, there will also be live music from the Queen City Sisters and a Tis' the Season lip sync battle. Noon-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8. Free admission. The City Flea Holiday Flea 

Cincinnati’s favorite summer shopping pastime returns with a winter edition — and a festive one at that. It’s all the fun from the summer months with a holiday twist at the City Flea’s Holiday Market, complete with decorations, warm drinks, twinkling lights and Santa hats. Taking over Washington Park during the evening hours, this market features local makers and artists selling their goods. It’s the perfect place to grab a new decoration for your home, another present to check off your list or just a little treat for yourself. 4-9 p.m. Saturday., Dec. 14 Free. Market Bleu

This evening market at the CAC showcases elevated handmade products and fine arts from vendors across the region, ranging from Greater Cincinnati makers to those from Cleveland, Columbus and Louisville as well as Lexington, Philadelphia and Virginia. 6-10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14. Art on Vine 

Monthly maker pop-up Art on Vine has moved indoors to its winter hub at Rhinegeist.
