YEAH! It's the Opening Day Parade.

Celebrate Reds Opening Day No. 2 with the 99th-annual Findlay Market Opening Day Parade. The parade kicks of at noon at Findlay Market and heads down Race Street to Fifth Street, ending at the Taft Theatre. Expect plenty of parade floats, people in Reds gear, day-drinkers, tiny horses, big horses and Grand Marshals Danny Graves and Sam LeCure.

The city is ready to party with food and drink specials all around town, plus entertainment, watch parties and more. Create your bar-hopping, parade-watching experience with these participating bars/restaurants. 


Arnolds Bar and Grill 

210 E. Eighth St., Downtown

There will be entertainment throughout the day including performances by members of the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Jim Tarbell dressed as Peanut Jim Shelton, live music, rare beer tappings, prizes and more.

Food and drink specials all day and night including $1.50 Hudy Delights, $2 hot dogs, $3 brats/mets and $5 burgers. 


Queen City Exchange

32 W. Court St., Downtown

Queen City Exchange has partnered with MadTree for the Opening Day Parade to bring you the “Rounding Third Mad Dog”: a bierwurst made with MadTree’s Rounding Third Beer. They will be serving it up from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Watch the parade from inside The Phoenix's comfortable private event rooms. Reservations are recommended and can be purchased through the website below. The event will feature ball park food stations, music from DJ Toad and drink specials.

The Rhined

Opens at 10 a.m. for the parade, featuring hot dogs from Avril-Bleh, smothered with warm, gooey raclette, mustard and a pickle spear. 


Tokyo Kitty

575 Race St., Downtown

The Opening Day Parade party kicks off at 10 a.m. Watch the parade from the front bar and get your groove on with DJ Fuseamania.

Washington Park + Taft’s Ale House 

1230 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine

There will be an Opening Day Parade party throughout the park. Expect beer, “over-sized yard games,” cornhole and a live broadcast of the Reds vs. Cubs game at 4:10 p.m. Arrive early to make sure you’ll have the perfect view of the parade floats passing by — sidewalk space can be difficult to come by. After the procession, stick around for music, family-friendly activities, food and cold beverages.
