While the annual Cincinnati Pride Parade and Festival has been rescheduled from June 27 to Oct. 3, it is still Pride Month and people are ready to celebrate.

If you’ve already been gearing up for the original date of Cincinnati Pride, you’re in luck. Kroger, 8451, HRC Cincinnati, Cincinnati Black Pride, and DANCEFIX by HBDC are collaborating with creative agency AGAR (the one behind the Porch Pour quarantine parties) to bring “Outside for Pride” to the front yards, porches, patios and balconies of the Queen City.

From 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, it’ll be you and your friends celebrating Pride from the comfort of your own front yard. But you’re not just throwing an ordinary lawn party — Outside for Pride has its perks.

"'Outside for Pride' is not a virtual event, rather it’s a series of safe, live, in-person, at-home celebrations united under the banner of equality, respect and PRIDE," says the event website.

RSVP for your own free Pride pack and get rainbow food and drink recipes, a Pride playlist, outdoor activities and printable party decor.

Everyone who RSVPs will also be automatically entered to win "a visit from the dancing-unicorn flash mob and dance troupe presented by the talented DANCEFIX by HBDC squad," says the event page.

If you’re going to dance, it might as well be with some professional dancing unicorns!

Whether you want to RSVP or not, Outside for Pride is all about making your celebration of Pride whatever you want it to be. People all over the city will be celebrating Pride in their own unique ways while they wait for October — apart but still together.

If you’re interested in getting an Outside for Pride pack or learning more, you can RSVP or visit outsideforpride.com.
