The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra is celebrating Star Wars Day — aka May 4 — with a performance of Michael Giacchino's Theme to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, conducted by John Morris Russell, which will premiere on Facebook at midnight via the Pops' video series American Soundscapes.

The video is also part of Pops' upcoming recording Voyage, due to be released on July 5, 2019 on CET.

But the festivities will continue with a party in Music Hall's Box Office lobby. Local cosplayer Fluke Skywalker will be in attendance, with donuts and coffee from Busken Bakery and Carabello Coffee, respectively. Guests can try their hand at a prize wheel to win items like T-shirts, water bottles and a set of free tickets to the Pops' "Red, White, and Boom" concert on July 4 at Riverbend.

Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes and snap a pic in the photo booth.
