Valentine's Day card by Pam Kravetz

During this challenging and often-times isolating year, spreading a little extra love during Valentine's Day goes a long day — especially for kids spending time in hospitals.

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center has again teamed up with Kolar Design and RPI printing to offer free Valentine's Day cards delivered to its patients.

It takes less than a minute to create a card and bring a little joy to those who currently don't have the opportunity to experience traditional Valentine's Day activities in school (virtually or in-person).

And this year, there are few familiar names on the card options.

Local artist and wig-wearing extraordinaire Pam Kravets has a fun and whimsical Valentine's Day card available, as do Matt Wizinsky and Lori Siebert. Plus there's a card by internationally renowned street artist Caledonia Curry, also known as Swoon, who held an exhibit at the Contemporary Art Center in 2017.

Visit this link, complete your name and email info and choose which Valentine you'd like to send. You can fill it out again (and again) to send another card. The more Valentines the merrier.

After you send your card, you'll be directed to a page where you can choose to donate to Children's. Kolar will match every donation until Feb. 14, up to a total of $20,000.
