Cincinnati's riverfront will transform into a full-on winter wonderland this January, with a new attraction called Snow Banks at the Banks.
Every weekend in January, visitors can enjoy a multitude of wintery fun, including a ski lodge-inspired happy hour, snow activities, special food and drink menus at participating restaurants and live snow features from an award-winning special effects producer.
Friday nights from 5-9 p.m., Freedom Way between Joe Nuxhall and Walnut Streets will transform into the Frontgate Lounge, with firepits, snow blizzards, drinks, sing-a-longs, rides on the SkyStar wheel, s'mores and more.
Admission to Snow Banks costs $5 on Saturdays and Sundays and includes exciting attractions like the 50-foot Frisch's Big Boy Snow Tube Run at SkyStar Wheel Snow Park, SkyStar rides for purchase, Joe's Snow Ride sledding hill on Joe Nuxhall Way, snow blizzards on Freedom Way, a cocktail bar at Frontgate Snow Lounge on Freedom Way, horse carriage rides, Cincinnati Cyclones hockey challenges, ice sculptures, ice bar with s'mores at Galla Park, beer gardens, acoustic music performances and more.
The event kicks off Jan. 3 and continues through Jan. 26.
