Rev your engines and get your 4-H Club ready: the 164th-annual Hamilton County Fair is back with a midway full of rides and games, livestock displays, arts and crafts exhibits, carnival food, giant tomatoes and all the rest of the wholesome county antics you’d expect.
The fair will include agricultural exhibits and the All American Petting Zoo. Grandstand features include wrestling, circle track racing and, of course, demolition derbies (a celebrity demolition derby kicks things off at 7:30 p.m. Thursday).
Look for live music from Rodney Alan Combs and Chuck Brisbin and the Tuna Project over the weekend.
4-11 p.m. Thursday-Friday; 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday; noon-10 p.m. Sunday. Hamilton County Fairgrounds, 7801 Anthony Wayne Ave., Carthage, hamiltoncountyfair.com.
