With the Bengals set to play in the Super Bowl for the first time since 1989, they have acquired a whole new fan base.
Looking for a literal "tail"gate this weekend?
The OTR Kennel Club is hosting a
Cincinnati Bengaldog Parade on Feb. 12 in Washington Park and through the streets of Over-the-Rhine.
This event offers furry friends and their owners the chance to sport their best Bengals spirit gear and flaunt their stuff. Break out all the jerseys, hats or helmets, doggy booties and funny costumes — Bengaldogs are encouraged to let their Who Dey flag fly.
Following a similar format to the
OTR Rail Dog Parade (which the kennel club hosts each holiday season), there will be a pre-puppy-parade tailgate at Queen City Radio to start raising spirits before the parade steps off at 4 p.m.
Once attendees are warmed up, the orange-and-black puppy procession — described as "a spirited, loosely organized saunter and Bengals cheer throughout Washington Park and the streets of OTR" — begins.
Join a post-parade hangout with pretzels, beer and food available for purchase from Queen City Radio's on-site vendor, Lübecker. Dog treats will be available for free.
Queen City Radio is located at 222 W. 12th St, Over-the-Rhine. Find out more information at
