The temperature is dropping and so are Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden's admission prices.
Cleverly dubbed ‘Penguin Days,’ the zoo is offering discounted tickets every day through March 13 during the wintertime promotion. Ticket prices vary from $7-$9.
Even cooler? On Saturdays and Sundays, visitors can enjoy special animal encounters and penguin parades. Yes, you can walk among the zoo’s king penguins like you’re Cincinnati royalty.
Starting at 11 a.m., as long as temperatures are below 50 degrees, the parade will begin and end at the Wings of the World exhibit.
Warm up at zoo's other indoor habitats, where you can learn about insects, bonobos, manatees, bats, reptiles and more. You can also swing by the indoor gorilla habitat.
Tickets cost $2 more at the gate.
