The Kelly Clarkson Show filmed a segment at Union Terminal in February for her talk show's #Obsessed: Good Neighborhood feature. According to a release, during that segment "she features a city and all the great things going on there."

The thing that inspired her to visit the Queen City was local nonprofit The Sole Bros, who were at Union Terminal collecting shoes for kids in need in the first through 12th grades during a public shoe drive. During the taping of the Clarkson segment, the Sole Bros Biggest Shoe Drive helped 100 local kids select a pair of new shoes.

WCPO 9 Anchor Kristyn Hartman hosted with Clarkson.

The nonprofit was formed in 2015 by Spencer Boyd, Curtis Harrison and Kellen Newman when they were in eighth grade to help make sure kids around the globe have access to a fresh pair of sneakers. According to the release, "Since they were founded in 2015, they have collected and distributed over 6,000 pairs of sneakers to youth in Jamaica, Ghana, Houston and Beaumont, Texas as well as their hometown in Cincinnati, Ohio."

The Kelly Clarkson Show featuring The Sole Bros airs 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 on WCPO.
