An upcoming fashion show aims to serve up all the looks while fighting for LGBTQ+ rights.

The Human Rights Campaign’s Greater Cincinnati chapter and the Art Academy of Cincinnati are teaming up to present the Project Rainbow Fashion Show. A celebration of diversity and inclusivity, Project Rainbow will be a social evening culminating in a runway show featuring all ages.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Art Academy of Cincinnati to bring this exciting event to our community,” HRC Cincinnati’s board of governors Pam Kravetz and Jordan Young said in a release. “This event will not only be a fantastic showcase of LGBTQ+ creativity, but it will also help us to continue our important work of fighting for equality and justice for all.”

The fashion pieces were created by Art Academy of Cincinnati students with the school’s graphic design and textile departments contributing to the show. Funds raised from the show will go toward the fight for LGBTQ+ equality, says the release.

“We are honored to collaborate with HRC Cincinnati on this important event,” said Art Academy of Cincinnati president Joseph Girandola. "The Project Rainbow Fashion Show aligns perfectly with our values of inclusivity and creativity, and we look forward to showcasing the incredible talent of our students."

The Project Rainbow Fashion Show will be held at the Art Academy of Cincinnati starting at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 29. Tickets start at $30 and can be bought here.
