If gyms feel too crowded or too risky these days, and you’re tired of working out at home, here are some free, outdoor alternatives around Cincinnati. These classes include yoga, dance, barre and more.

Monday

Outdoor Yoga at the Pleasant Ridge CRC — Hello Sunshine hosts yoga classes for all levels on Mondays. The business asks for donations to help pay its operating costs. Classes are bring-your-own-mat and water. 6:30 p.m. Mondays through Aug. 31. 1000 Hands Playground, 5915 Ridge Ave, Pleasant Ridge.

Tuesday

Smale Mind and Body: Ragga Fit — NGOMA hosts a dance fitness class has participants work on cardio while listening to Reggae/Afrobeat music. 6 p.m. Tuesdays through July 30. Smale Riverfront Park,166 W. Mehring Way, Downtown.

Tuesday Workout: Yoga on the Green — Findlay Yoga hosts classes for all levels at Washington Park. Circles have been painted on the lawn at Washington Park to help keep people 6 feet apart. Once the circles are full, the class is full. Bring your own towels, water, mat, etc. 6 p.m. Tuesdays. Washington Park, 1230 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine.

Sage Yoga at Devou Park — This yoga class by Covington's Sage Yoga is appropriate for all levels. While the class is free, they are accepting donations which benefit Sage Yoga's Calm Mind Foundation. Registration is required. 7 p.m. Mondays. Rotary Grove at Devou Park, 1201 Park Drive, Covington. 

Getting Bent Yoga — Darkness Brewing hosts a Tuesday night mixed Vinyasa class at Bellevue Beach Park. Bring your own pint. 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays. 643-665 Frank Benke Way, Bellevue, Kentucky.

Wednesday

Wednesday Workout — Central Parkway YMCA hosts a rotating schedule of various fitness classes this summer at Washington Park. Circles have been painted on the lawn at Washington Park to help keep people 6 feet apart. Once the circles are full, the class is full. Bring your own towels, water, mat, etc. 6 p.m. Wednesdays. Washington Park. 1230 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine.

Smale Mind and Body: Moda Yoga — Moda Yoga offers a donation-based yoga session on Smale Riverfront Park's Schmidlapp Event Lawn next to Moerlein Lager House. For all levels. 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Sept. 25. Smale Riverfront Park, 166 W. Mehring Way, Downtown.

Yoga in the Park: Symmes Township — The township is hosting yoga classes by a certified yoga instructor for all levels at Hopewell Meadows Park. 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays. 9131 Hopewell Road, Symmes Township.

Friday

Smale Mind and Body: Barre — The Barre Code will host classes that focus on cardio, strength training and stretching during lunchtime. 12:10 p.m. Fridays through Aug. 9. Smale Riverfront Park, 166 W. Mehring Way, Downtown.

Saturday

Sage Yoga— Sage Yoga hosts a weekly all-levels Saturday yoga class at Trolley Park. Bring your own mat and water.10 a.m. Saturdays. 1101 Amsterdam Road, Park Hills, Kentucky.

SageFit at the Park — Sage Yoga hosts a combination of HIIT, Tabata and cardio during their fitness class. BYO(mat), filled water bottle and towel. They will provide disinfectant, mini-bands and hand weights for certain classes. A $10 donation is suggested and registration is required. 9:30 a.m. Saturdays. Meet at Devou Park Bandshell, 1 Bandshell Blvd, Covington.

Yoga in the Park: Symmes Township — Symmes Township hosts yoga classes for all levels at Hopewell Meadows Park. 9 a.m. Saturdays. 9131 Hopewell Road, Symmes Township. 

Sunday

Getting Bent Yoga — Darkness Brewing hosts an “energizing flow” yoga class at Bellevue Beach Park. The class starts with a meditation before moving in to different flow and poses. Bring your own pint. 10 a.m. Sundays. 643-665 Frank Benke Way, Bellevue, Kentucky.
