It's the "most wonderful time of the year," and your typical holiday traditions may look a little bit different this year due to the pandemic. But that just means organizations and attractions have had the opportunity to get creative.
This year, Ohio. Find it Here. has introduced their 2020 Drivable Holiday Lights Trail, a 16-stop trail that weaves across the state featuring drive-thru and publicly lit displays that you can enjoy without leaving your car — making for one heck of a socially distant holiday road trip.
The trail is in conjunction with a larger project, aimed at supporting Ohio businesses safely.
“As we approach the holidays, we continue to encourage a ‘don’t let up’ attitude when it comes to safety precautions such as wearing a mask and social distancing,” said Lydia Mihalik, director of the Ohio Development Services Agency. “Local businesses are depending on all of us to support them safely so they can stay open and our communities can stay healthy.”
The 18-stop trail kicks off locally with displays in Middletown and Hamilton (Light Up Middletown and Journey BOREALIS, respectively) and zig-zags its way through Troy, Columbus, Cleveland, Cambridge and more on your jolly journey.
