Vote Now for Kings Island to be Named the Best Theme Park in the Country

Kings Island is nominated for the "Best Theme Park" award in USAToday's annual 10Best poll.

Kings Island is in the running to become to earn the title of "Best Theme Park" in the United States. The popular Mason destinations joins 19 other amusement parks from around the country vying for the aforementioned distinction in USA Today's 10Best Readers' Choice 2022.

According to their website, "10Best asked a panel of amusement park and family travel experts to nominate their 20 favorite parks across the continent." Kings Island made the cut and now it's time for the people to vote.

Kings Island offers over 100  rides, shows and attractions — including the 33-acre Soak City waterpark (though the park's 15 roller coasters are truly the foundation of the park's thrill).

Highlights include record-breaking wooden coaster, The Beast, as well as one of the top-ranked steel roller coasters in annual industry polls, Diamondback.

Orion, the park's fastest, tallest and longest steel coaster, debuted in 2020 and was named "Best New Amusement Park Attraction," for USA Today's 10Best Readers' Choice 2020.

Southwest Ohio's beloved Kings Island is competing against amusement park giants from California and Florida like Disney, Universal and SeaWorld.

Readers can vote once per day on USA Today's 10Best website until voting ends on April 25 at noon. View the full list of nominees on 10Best's website.

Kings Island is set to celebrate its 50th anniversary season with a series of special events. The park officially opening on  Saturday, April 16.
