Watch Rowers Race in Traditional Chinese Vessels at the Hamilton Dragon Boat Festival

This race day doubles as an Asian culture celebration

Hamilton Dragon Boat Festival

Head to Hamilton, Ohio for the annual Dragon Boat Festival. Hosted by the Great Miami Rowing Center, this fest features racing teams of 22 paddlers, a steerer and a drummer going head-to-head in traditional Chinese dragon boats.

In addition to the races, there will be an "Outdoor Recreation Village" with water play and outdoor events for kids, plus a celebration of Asian culture via activities and food.

The races help raise funds to provide scholarships to youth and adaptive athletes and assist to the Great Miami Rowing Center in funding its water recreation activities.
