The Bearcats made history this year, with an undefeated record and a trip to the College Football Playoffs โ€” the first time a team from a non-Power Five conference has done so.

On Dec. 4, the Bearcats won their 13th game of the season, securing the American Athletic Conference championship and their spot in this yearโ€™s playoffs. Star quarterback Desmond Ridder helped the cause with over 3,000 passing yards and a total of 30 touchdowns this season.

Celebrations havenโ€™t stopped since the announcement, and on Dec. 21, drones lit up the sky above Nippert Stadium in honor of the amazing season.

The Bearcats will faceoff against Alabama Crimson Tide at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas this New Yearโ€™s Eve at 3:30 p.m. Watch the game on ESPN, various streaming platforms or any Cincinnati bar.

And because this is such a big deal, Cinemark theaters and ESPN have also partnered to bring the action to the big screen.

โ€œWe are thrilled to offer an incredible opportunity for college football fans to gather and cheer on their teams in our immersive auditoriums with larger-than-life screens and surround sound,โ€ said Justin McDaniel, Cinemark SVP Global Content, in a release. โ€œThis collaboration with ESPN brings together the best in college football and exhibition for a one-of-a-kind viewing experience that will make people feel like they are part of the on-field action.โ€

Catch the game at the Cinemark theater in Oakley, Western Hills or Dayton. Get tickets at cinemark.com.
