This could be you, very soon.

If you’re anything like me, you want to know when it’s going to actually feel like fall in Cincinnati.

It’s hard to appreciate cozy season when it’s 80 degrees outside in October. Luckily we’re not too far off from sweater weather.

I'm not a meteorologist, but I have read the the Farmer’s Almanac report, and it says the Ohio Valley will be seeing cold weather the week of Oct. 19-22. They list that week as "sunny and cold," perfect for pumpkin patching and hot cider.

Next week, Oct. 8-18, they list as "rainy periods and chilly," but chilly seems to be subjective — especially as the current predicted high on Oct. 8 is 77 degrees (via the National Weather Service).

The Almanac predicts the average temperature in Cincinnati in October will be 50 degrees, 7 below average, with 3 inches of precipitation. If you’re looking forward to the winter, they say the first chance of snow showers will be Nov. 1-12.

You should also start to see the leaves changing Oct. 5-21 in Ohio, the Almanac says. And if you’re outdoorsy, there are many places around Cincinnati to see that beautiful seasonal spectacle.

If you don’t care about the temperature and are ready to enjoy autumn now, check out these eight fall festivals around the city or get spooky at these 10 haunted houses.
