Most people have that one letter they’ve been meaning to write for weeks, or maybe even months, but taking the time to scribble it out, let alone mail it, seems impossible.

Whether it’s a thank you note, a reply to a pen pal, or any other snail mail that’s been on the back burner, there’s time to finish it at Thursday’s Correspondence Club at The Mercantile Library.

The club was started by library member Allison Lester, and this is their inaugural meeting. If you neglect to bring your own stationery, stamps or pens, the library will provide the necessary materials. Open to the public.

4-5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 4. Free admission. Mercantile Library, 414 Walnut St., #1100, Downtown, facebook.com/themercantilelibrary.
