Permanent closure of the Fourth Street on-ramp to I-75/71 in Covington solidified perpetual angst for the Brent Spence Bridge. Now we’re supposed to use something called a Texas Turnaround to get across the river, but this is Greater Cincinnati, and the turnaround nonsense doesn't make anything easier. Seemingly, the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge has been nursed back to health, but you never know if or when a feral taxi is going to crash into the precious structure again. Just in case, always steer clear and use the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge in Covington or the Taylor Southgate Bridge in Newport. Both routes are typically free of congestion and drop you directly in Downtown easily.
