MadTree
3301 Madison Ave., Oakley
MadTree is bringing beer to the people a couple of different ways: via their roaming "adult ice cream truck" and group beer deliveries. The beer truck is traveling area neighborhoods select days through New Year's Eve (see facebook.com/MadTree for neighborhood updates and track the truck at madtreebrewing.com) carrying beer, Catch-a-Fire Pizza kits and holiday merch. The brewery will post on their social media which neighborhood they're heading to; you can tag them or comment for specific areas and streets you want them to visit. Payment is credit card only.
"The whole point of this is to be reminiscent of the ice cream truck days of our youth. It is not overly planned but more happenstance," says Lauren Amos of MadTree. "You can track us and see if we are close. We have people who come find us. It is typically a delightful surprise to find us just like when the ice cream truck would show up. We are observing all safety measures including socially distant lines, masks, and sanitization methods."
If you're looking for something more concrete, MadTree is also delivering beer to a single location/address — as long as you order a minimum of 20 packages (of beer and/or pizza kits). You can place your order with alexis.victor@madtreebrewing.com. Delivery is available throughout the area, except they cannot legally deliver in Kentucky. To order, you'll get a group order form and then schedule a date and time for your delivery.
