It's the moment we've all been waiting for: Cinco de Mayo falls on Taco Tuesday this year, so local restaurants and bars are stepping it up when it comes to their carry-out menus and offerings on this momentous day. From gift card giveaways to cantina pop-ups, taco specials and/or carry-out margaritas, these local eateries are bringing the party to you.

Nada
600 Walnut St., Downtown
Downtown’s Nada unfortunately cannot host their annual Cinco de Mayo celebration, so instead they’re throwing a “Cyber Cinco de Nada” party. Their chile-mango margarita is making a return, and they’re offering surprise-filled pinatas for the first 100 orders of the beloved margarita. Place your order by calling 513-721-6232 or by visiting their linked website. Delivery is available via Grubhub, UberEats and Postmates.

Build-your-own taco chain Condado Tacos is celebrating Cinco de Mayo by giving away $100 gift cards to 18 customers (nine at each Cincinnati location). To be eligible, all you have to do is purchase a margarita to-go with your meal. Margaritas must be purchased alongside a meal to comply with Gov. DeWine’s guidelines.

Home of some of the city’s best tacos, including tacos al pastor with deliciously marinated pork shoulder, barbacoa, carne asada, lengua (tongue) and sesos (brains; they wash down perfectly with a cerveza). For vegetarians, wide-ranging fillings include seasoned pumpkin flower, corn truffle, hongos, beans and queso fresco. This inexpensive and authentic menu has been known to incite cravings after as little as one visit.
