Join us for our 1st annual Wassail Celebration on January 27th! This is an ancient tradition first performed in 1585 to bless the apple trees to produce a good crop in the upcoming season.
Throughout the evening we'll have food and traditional music. Join us for the pageantry of blessing the tree, making flower crowns, and naming a Wassail Queen!
Here's to thee, old apple tree,
Whence thou mayst bud
And whence thou mayst blow!
And whence thou mayst bear apples enow!
Hats full! Caps full!
Bushel—bushel—sacks full,
And my pockets full too! Huzza!
