Grieg: Peer Gynt in Concert at Music Hall

Peer Gynt is a satirical Norwegian play that follows a peasant who abducts a bride on the day of her wedding and then abandons her to travel the world. The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra will perform Edvard Grieg’s score of the play, which was directed by Bill Barclay, the artistic director of Concert Theatre Works. Asian Cuisine Week

Cincinnati's Asian Cuisine Week is bringing you deals and secret menu items from over 40 Asian restaurants throughout the Greater Cincinnati area now through Sunday, Jan. 15. A week ahead of the Lunar New Year, participating restaurants are offering customers up to five $10 dishes or combos, and some restaurants are also including vegan items on their lists. AdamCon, which proclaims itself to be the "largest free, fun, family-friendly board game convention in the tri-state area," according to a description from CityBeat's event calendar, will be taking place at Capstone Games Store this weekend. The convention will feature a myriad board games, card games — even Dungeons and Dragons. Chili Fest at Findlay Market

Findlay Market’s annual Chili Fest is back this weekend. This year’s fest will have 23 vendors offering a variety of chili to be sampled. Chili fest will also include drink samples like beer from Sonder Brewing, a local brewery that is the official beer sponsor for the event, as well as live music. Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens at Paycor Stadium

Do you smell that? It's the postseason, and the Cincinnati Bengals are ready. With their Jan. 8 win over the Baltimore Ravens (and eight straight wins to close the regular season), the Bengals earned the AFC North crown in back-to-back seasons for the first time. Now No. 3 seed Cincinnati will battle No. 6 seed Baltimore again during the Wild Card playoff game at home, with Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and company hoping for another eventual run at the Super Bowl.
