Acclaimed singer/songwriter Conor Oberst just announced a summer U.S. tour that includes a return to Cincinnati's Taft Theatre on July 25. Joanna Sternberg opens the show.
All tickets are $33 (plus fees) and go on sale this Friday (April 19) at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com or at the Taft Theatre box office.
Oberst is a man of many projects. Besides his solo work and Bright Eyes (which was what initially brought him widespread attention), Oberst is also a member of Desaparecidos and the Monsters of Folk supergroup and leader of The Mystic Valley Band.
Oberst's most recent project is Better Oblivion Community Center, a duo with singer/songwriter Phoebe Bridgers. BOCC's self-titled debut album was surprise-released this past January. Oberst's most recent solo album is 2017's Salutations.
Oberst is partnering with PLUS1 to donate $1 from every ticket sold on his upcoming tour to The Florence Project, which works to provide "legal and social services for detained adults and children under threat of deportation."
