A month after Democratic Party presidential primary contender Elizabeth Warren visited Cincinnati, another left-leaning presidential hopeful is coming to town.

U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont will give the keynote speech at the National Newspaper Publishers Association's Black Tie Legends dinner at downtown's Westin hotel Friday. NNPA represents black-owned newspapers across the country.

Sanders is known for his populist political stances, including advocacy for tuition-less higher education, Medicare for all and other left-of-center policies. Sanders is an independent but caucuses with Democrats in the Senate.

Unlike Warren's free campaign rally, Sanders' visit isn't strictly a campaign event, and tickets to the fundraising dinner cost $75.
