As with most things this year, even shopping for a Christmas tree looks a bit different. And Findlay Market is giving its Christmas tree customers a chance to pick up their tree with little-to-no contact by offering curbside pickup.
Yes. You can order a tree online — you'll have to trust the market to pick the perfect tree for you — and they'll bring it your car.
Head to findlaymarketstore.square.site to place your order, and it will be pruned and netted before you arrive. Show up at the date and time selected in the loading zone (outside of Harvest Pizzeria and across from the Biergarten). Twine will be provided but the buyer will have to secure the tree to their vehicle themselves.
“We want to do everything we can do help shoppers get what they need and want from Findlay Market this holiday season,” says Kelly Lanser, Director of Communication for the Corporation for Findlay Market, in a release. “From merchant carry-out options to the Findlay Market Shopping App to our online gift guide, and now Curbside Pickup for our Christmas Trees — it is our priority to make shopping at the market safe and easy."
All curbside orders must be placed by 8 a.m. Fridays for that weekend's pickup. And you can purchase trees in-person Friday-Sunday at the market as well.
If you are unable to make any of the weekend times to buy at Findlay, you can pick a tree at HomeMakers Bar (39 E. 13th St., Over-the-Rhine). Their hours of operation are 4:30-10 p.m. Tuesday; 4-10 p.m. Wednesday-Friday; 1-10 p.m. Saturday.
This year's tree sale directly benefits the market and its vendors.
