Calling all pinball wizards: The inaugural Pincinnati show takes over the Holiday Inn Eastgate this weekend with more than 100 working pinball machines from the 1970s to today. And all are available to play, for free, so leave the quarters at home.
The official game list includes:
- Alice Cooper's Nightmare Castle
- Attack from Mars
- CSI
- Doctor Who
- Escape from the Lost World
- Game of Thrones Pro
- Houdini
- Rat Race (only 10 were ever made)
- and more (see the full list here)
Entry tickets are limited to avoid over-crowding; some will be sold at the door if any space remains. General entry tickets do not include access to the pinball tournament.
There will be three tournaments this weekend: a strike-out tournament on Friday ($20 entry; limited to 64 players); a matchplay tournament on Saturday ($20; limited to 64 players); and a running of the gauntlet on Sunday ($10). Get info on singing up for tournaments here.
The event is presented by headliner Pins Mechanical Co., which just opened its new pinball/duck pin bowling/small ball game bar in OTR in mid-November.
