Starting Nov. 15, Cincinnati’s brew enthusiasts will have yet another option for social sipping: the Samuel Adams Cincinnati Tap Room in Over-the-Rhine, located across from the Samuel Adams Cincinnati Brewery at the Urban Sites’ Film Center Project adjacent to Findlay Market.

The taproom, which features indoor and outdoor space, spans nearly 9,000 feet, offering an array of unique beers brewed both onsite and at the Cincinnati Brewery. These include fan favorites like the Cincinnati-inspired lager 513, Boston Lager and Summer Ale.

Much of the taproom’s planned design is inspired by Cincinnati’s brewing history.

“We’ve been dreaming of opening a taproom in the neighborhood since we purchased the brewery 21 years ago, so we could share our beers with local drinkers,” said Samuel Adams founder Jim Koch in a press release. “Now, I’m thrilled to see this dream finally become a reality. Cincinnati is my hometown with such a rich brewing history and I’ve seen our city blossom as a craft beer mecca that is home to some of the finest breweries and taprooms in the country.”

Koch says his goal for the new taproom is to offer Cincinnatians a “cool place to hang out” while offering a taste of unique, locally brewed beers.

The Samuel Adams Cincinnati Brewery has called OTR its home for the past 21 years, and has since undergone a series of renovations and expansions. The brewery says it will continue to share additional news and details as construction of the taproom progresses.

The brewery will be located at 1632 Central Parkway, Over-the-Rhine. More info here.
