The City Flea is adapting to the coronavirus pandemic and taking its May market online.
The "virtual flea" will be held Saturday, May 16 on the City Flea Instagram page and shared on their Facebook page as a story highlight.
Basically, they'll be posting information about their vendors throughout the day and then collecting all of that into one story you can swipe through and shop. Posting starts at 10 a.m. and the flea says they have hundreds of booths lined up for a day-long event.
In a separate Instagram post, the flea also says they encourage shoppers to "follow new to you businesses on their social media, comment and engage with them on their posts, etc."
They also want their vendors to get creative with their "virtual booth spaces" aka their Instagram pages and digital platforms.
"We are so excited to see how creative our vendors are going to be with their virtual spaces and while we know this isn’t ideal, we think it’s going to be a lot of fun! Mark your calendars," the post continues.
