Chef Christian Gill of Pendleton's Boomtown Biscuits & Whiskey is returning to the Food Network with yet another cooking competition this fall.
Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge invites six of the nation's most talented chefs to compete for the champion title. Hosted by Giada De Laurentiis, the show challenges chefs to a series of competitions to see who can prepare the best Thanksgiving-themed meals.
According to an email from Gill, the chefs first challenge will be, "transforming a low-cost item into an extraordinary Thanksgiving appetizer. The winner gets an advantage in the dinner round, when the chefs must feature an inexpensive turkey item in their turkey dinner."
The competition will be judged by Alex Guarnaschelli, Carla Hall and Christian Petroni, who will decide which chef will go home after each round of challenges.
The final chef to make it through all of the rounds will take home $25,000.
The show will air on the Food Network starting Sunday, November 3 at 9 p.m.
