Cincinnati's Frisch's is well-known for many things, like their burgers, breakfast buffets and their charming (or creepy, depending on your view) "Big Boy" mascot. But one particular thing reigns supreme during the holiday season: their delectable pies.
The eatery has been in the freshly-made pie game since 1947, and over the decades has become a tried-and-true holiday staple, especially for their Pumpkin Pie.
And at a time when family gatherings are (for the most part) on hold, sending someone you care about the gift of pie is a great way to show some love.
Frisch's is now shipping their pies across the U.S. via cincyfavorites.com, along with other Queen City essentials. Pumpkin, apple and cherry pies are available in combo packs with Graeter's Ice Cream pints for $39.99, or for $19.99 as add ons to other packages.
"These iconic pies are made locally in Frisch’s Kitchen in East Walnut Hills, where team members have been keeping their famous pumpkin pie recipe a secret over 30 years," a press release reads.
If you're local and craving a taste, you can order full pies or pies by the slice for pick-up or delivery from your neighborhood eatery.
