Thunderdome Restaurant Group is scheduling reopening dates for its restaurant concepts, starting with Currito and CityBird. All will be opening for carry-out and delivery — not sit-down dining.

Currito Hyde Park and CityBird OTR will be the first two to open on Monday, April 27. The locations will be offering their full menus for carry-out or delivery from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Saturday.

“We’ve spent the last 5 weeks, like much of the rest of country, hunkered down, watching events unfold and listening to the advice of government officials,” says John Lanni, Thunderdome Restaurant Group co-founder, in a press release. “But we’re so excited to begin doing what we do best, serving our guests again.”

The release goes on to say each restaurant will be reopening with social distancing and sanitizing measures in place to keep staff and customers safe. They will be limiting the amount of employees and guests allowed in each store, marking six feet on the floor (indicating where to stand if there is a line) and only accepting cashless transactions. Orders can be placed and paid for on the Currito or CityBird apps via Google Play or Apple or online at currito.com and citybirdtenders.com.

Currito and CityBird Harper's Point will open next on Thursday, April 30.

“You can rest assured that safety is our number one priority,” says Joe Lanni, another Thunderdome Restaurant Group co-founder, in the same release. “We’ve worked diligently to craft operating procedures and guidelines, based on recommendations and guidance from government officials and the CDC, and feel confident that we can continue to serve you as safely as ever during these extraordinary times.”

After Currito and CityBird come Bakersfield OTR, The Eagle OTR and Pepp & Dolores, which will begin serving limited carry-out and delivery from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday starting May 1. Bakersfield will also be open Tuesday, May 5 for Cinco de Mayo.

Online ordering and pre-paid transactions will be available for all three restaurants at bakersfieldtacos.com, eaglerestaurant.com, and peppanddolores.com.

Currito Kenwood and CityBird Crestview Hills will open starting Monday, May 4. Currito Blue Ash will open Friday, May 8. And CityBird Beechmont will host its grand opening in mid to late May (with a drive-thru).
