Odd Future frontman Tyler, the Creator was arrested Thursday evening for vandalism during the group’s Christmas show. Staff at The Roxy in West Hollywood called the police at around 11:30 p.m. after Tyler allegedly started trashing the sound equipment and throwing it at a sound engineer. Tyler’s crony Frank Ocean sent out a tweet after the incident which read, “dem hoelice yo.” Video here. —-
New Order is releasing a two-disc CD called Live at The London Troxy, a recording of their Dec. 10 show. The 16-track album will be available in record stores and through digital music purveyors in early January. Track listing and a link to pre-order the album here.

Tampa Bay area police say 52-year-old John Robin Whittle ordered a beer at a bar, left to rob a bank and then came back to finish his beer. Whittle was promptly arrested after returning to the bar and is being held on $10,000 bond.
A Seattle girl sent a letter to Santa attached to two pink balloons that ended up landing in Northern California. Five-year-old Helen Cardenas wrote a letter in Spanish asking for a doll, a tea set, shoes and pants from Santa. The family that received the note say they hope to make Cardenas’ Christmas wish come true. "We're just hoping the gifts get there before Christmas," Julie Sanderson said. "For the balloons to make it this far down here and for us to find it, is just unbelievable."
