Cincinnati Funk legend Bootsy Collins just released a new music video for his latest single "Stars," featuring a slew of eclectic collaborators — among them philosopher Dr. Cornel West, drummer Steve Jordan, banjo icon Béla Fleck, 15-year-old Country star and social media maven EmiSunshine and Cuban singer Olvido Ruiz.

All of the proceeds from the streams and downloads of "Stars" will benefit the Recording Academy's MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund, which has the goal of helping artists in need.

“'Stars' reminds us that none of us made the other and that our planet is our ship through time and space,” says Bootsy in a release. “The opportunity to reset and respect our land, our people, and everything in it comes from Star Children many Moons away. You all are 'Star Children' so come shine with us!”
