Bones' Burgers, from owner Curtis "Bones" Bonekemper, is closing one of its two Cincinnati locations. The team announced on their Facebook page on Feb. 18 that they will be shutting down their Oakley eatery later this month.

"It is with some sadness and some relief that we have decided to close our Oakley location on Sunday, February 23. We might have an opportunity to expand our current location and that fits our abilities and desires more than a second store does," the post reads. "We've enjoyed the many new friends we have met and served throughout our year and a half and look forward to seeing you at our Montgomery location at 9721 Montgomery Road. Thanks to all our employees who did and continue to make Bones' Burgers what it is today. — Bones, Suki and Steph."

Bonekemper started serving burgers out of a food truck in 2011. He wanted to create a great burger from locally sourced, grass-fed beef, and did just that, winning over enough converts to eventually open two storefronts: one in Montgomery and one in Oakley.

The last day to visit the Oakley location will be Feb. 23.
