As with most large gatherings and celebrations planned for 2020, Greater Cincinnati amusement park Kings Island has officially announced that they have canceled two of their annual events.

Both Halloween Haunt, which typically runs from late September through Halloween weekend, and WinterFest, which usually runs from November through Dec. 31, have been canceled this year, and will return in 2021.

According to an announcement on the website, the decision to reschedule the events was "due to operating constraints in our region."

Currently Kings Island is open and reservations are not required, however, tickets must be purchased online, one member of your group must have the Kings Island app and all guests must wear masks. Visitors must also complete a health screening questionnaire within 24 hours of their visit.
