One of Cincinnati's most popular New Year's Eve parties, "First Midnight," returns to Pendleton's 3 Points Urban Brewery on Dec. 31 — and this year, they're bringing a black light.

Hosted by Cincy Music, 3 Points and CityBeat, the Glow Vision-themed event will kick off at 9 p.m. and feature live entertainment, complimentary craft beer and cocktails, a champagne toast, appetizers and midnight party favors. Complimentary UV light face painters will be present to transform guest's faces into glowing masterpieces when the brewery goes black at midnight.

When the lights go out and the black lights turn on, the invisible face paint will begin to glow and the space will transform into a wild neon celebration. Guests are encouraged to wear vibrant or white clothing; the event is not a formal affair.

“We’re thrilled to bring back First Midnight again for an amazing glow experience” said Andrew Salzbrun, vice president of the Pendleton Neighborhood Council, partner of the Hickory Wald hospitality group (which owns 3 Points) and partner of the experiential agency, AGAR.

“This will not be a party that you want to miss,” he adds.

Tickets to the event go on sale Dec. 2 and cost $100. They can be purchased at firstmidnight.com.
