The Hamilton County Board of Elections is closing its building at 4700 Smith Road in Norwood.
It is suspending non-essential operations, according to a release, to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
"The Board has a 24-hour, secure drive-up drop-box that voters can use to deposit any correspondence to the Board of Elections. In addition, a self-serve desk and drop-box will be available during regular business hours — 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays — in the vestibule at the board office," says the release.
Voters can submit an absentee ballot request form there or a voter registration/change of address form.
Information is not yet available regarding the suspended March 17 primary election. The board says it will post news about the elections on their website and social media.
They also note that "voters who previously cast an absentee ballot or voted early will have their votes counted after the polls close in the suspended election."
