Take-and-bake grilled cheeses are back at Pleasant Ridge's Share: Cheesebar.

Emily Frank, who formerly ran food truck C'est Cheese, has reinstated some of the mobile eatery's popular grilled cheese creations at her shop, in addition to some exciting new options.

Share: Cheesebar is operating on a smaller scale and is currently carry-out only due to the coronavirus pandemic, so Frank said she wanted to think outside the box with their food offerings. In addition to take-and-bake grilled cheeses, Share also has a limited menu available on their website with cheese and charcuterie boards, assorted cheeses and meat, plus wine and snacks.

Currently, Share's $9 take-and-bake grilled cheese variations include the Bee Sting, with mozzarella, pepperoni, basil-infused honey and chili flakes on Tuscan pane (their No. 1 C'est Cheese seller); the Green Lantern, with mozzarella, basil pesto and Roma tomatoes on Tuscan pane; The New Normal, with housemade pimento, Monterey Jack with jalapeno, colby and muenster on Tuscan pane; and the Cuban Mustard Crisis, with Red Dragon Cheddar, grain mustard, mozzarella, Black Forest ham and pickles on Tuscan pane.

Each sandwich comes in a vacuum-sealed bag with instructions written on the back for how to prepare it.

C'est Cheese was slated to open a location inside of the forthcoming Esoteric Brewing in Walnut Hills, but according to Frank, with the current state of the restaurant industry, it just wasn't the right time.

"Due to COVID and the uncertainty of the restaurant industry, we felt it wasn't the right time to open a second location. We are heartbroken to not join the Walnut Hills community but think this is best for us.  We still aren't even open at full capacity at Share: Cheesebar and think we've made the hardest, but best decision for us at this time," says Frank.

The take-and-bake grilled cheeses are available with their grab-and-go products, but to ensure your favorite sandwich is available, order online (at least 24 hours in advance).

"We are grateful to our loyal regulars who have supported us through these last months of the insanity. From trying new menu items like our take-and-bake mac and cheese to the sandwiches and being patient while when we don't have what they need in stock. We have had to pivot and think a bit outside the box a bit and appreciate the loyal cheese lovers who have stuck with us through all of it," says Frank.
