The Cincinnati Pug Meet Up Group hosts its annual PugFair to raise funds for pug rescue and shelter organizations. Grab your parrot head hats and throw on some leis: the theme for this year's festival is Pugaritaville.
The festival takes place in Norwood's Waterworks Park from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. on Sept. 21. While the event is centered around the pug breed specifically, all dogs are welcome to join in the fun.
The festival will feature vendors, raffles, live music, food, games and the Parade of the Dogs, where costumed dogs can strut their stuff. The event page urges attendees to bring blankets or lawn chairs as no seating will be provided. Proceeds from the event will benefit Bluegrass Pug Rescue.
If you're interested in being a vendor, registration costs $40 for a 10-foot-by-10-foot space. Nonprofit rescues are welcome to set up free of charge, but the organization requests that they donate an item to be raffled.
