Adventurous Electronic artist Flying Lotus is bringing his acclaimed 3D live show back to Covington's Madison Theater in September.

The experimental multimedia/multi-genre producer/filmmaker/musician/MC/DJ — who fuses Electronic styles and Hip Hop with tones of Jazz and Soul like a mad scientist who sometimes adds a pinch of LSD to their concoctions — wowed area fans when his "Flying Lotus in 3-D" tour came to Madison Theater in 2017. The captivating show features carefully designed visuals that are choreographed with the music and enhanced with 3D technology (viewable through the glasses given to showgoers). The forthcoming tour's visual components are said to be even more "immersive."

Flying Lotus' next round of tour dates was announced today with the release of another new track from his forthcoming album, Flamagra (which is available to pre-order/pre-save here). "More" is a collaboration with Anderson .Paak and follows the release of new album tracks Spontaneous," “Takashi” and "Fire is Coming."

Flamagra drops May 24 and features collaborations with Solange, George Clinton, Denzel Curry, Shabazz Palaces, Toro y Moi and Davis Lynch.

Flying Lotus returns to Madison Theater on Sept. 5. Tickets ($28) go on sale May 17 at 10 a.m. here.
