If you're having fun driving on I-75 and I-74 during the current "major reconstruction project" (as the Ohio Department of Transportation calls it), things are going to get even more fun this week with assorted lane closures.
- Starting Tuesday, Jan. 28, ODOT says there will be "various lane closures on I-75 North and South between Mitchell Avenue and Hopple Street from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Wednesday." Along with this, there will be full lane closures on I-74 and I-75 in the work zone from midnight-4 a.m.
- From 7 p.m.-6 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28 and Friday, Jan. 31 there will be a lane closure at Spring Grove Avenue.
- From Wednesday, Jan. 29 through Friday, Jan. 31, there will be a lane closure from 8 p.m.-6 a.m. on I-74 West between I-75 North and Colerain Avenue.
- On Friday, Jan. 31, ODOT says, "I-74 East access to I-75 South will be closed from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Saturday. Traffic will be detoured using I-74 East to I-75 North to Mitchell Avenue to I-75 South."
Note: There will be signs to alert drivers to various work zones and restrictions and all work is dependent upon the weather.
