Hello. Do you like reading about how great Cincinnati is based on studies by various websites and media outlets? Great. Here's another one.

Neighborhoods.com — "a full service brokerage and an easy-to-use online real estate resource that helps people find the perfect home as well as the ideal neighborhood" — has named Cincinnati the No. 11 best city in America for freelancers according to some collected metrics.

To determine our ranking, we analyzed data from more than 150 cities and compared those cities across five metrics: median rent, average internet speed, number of coffee shops per capita, income taxes (based on the median freelancer income of $52,074), and ease of getting around that is based on the average of a combined walkability, transit, and biking score.

Cincinnati was beat out for the No. 10 spot by Tampa, Florida and outranked by Nos. 1-9: Spokane, Washington; Vancouver, Washington; Fort Lauderdale; Tempe, Arizona; Scottsdale, Arizona; Orlando; Las Vegas; San Antonio; and Hialeah, Florida.

Note: Move to Florida if you want to freelance, apparently.

In the five metrics, Cincinnati had a median rent of $1,006 for one-bedroom apartment, 53.20 mbps for internet speed, $11,004 federal+state income taxes based on that average income number above, 13.4 coffee shops per 100,000 people and the number 43 as an ease of transit score. (One digit away from the answer to life, the universe and everything.)
