Do you have the poultry skills to sling your chicken wings at the inaugural Queen of the Wing festival at Washington Park?

Held Sept. 28, the event will feature more than 20 area vendors hawking their best chicken wings (plus live music, contests, alcohol, etc.). And one talented wing-maker will be crowned Queen of the Wing.

AGAR and 3CDC are currently looking for vendors, so if you are a restaurant or homecook with a coveted or creative wing recipe and you want to participate, you have to be willing to serve your wings for $1 a pop and provide your own equipment.

Other registration requirements include things like a $250 space fee. Tents, tables, electric and ground cover will be provided. For more info on vendor requirements or how to apply, visit queenofthewing.com.
